I don't tolerate cold well. It's supposed to be 75 today and I'm planning on wearing a sweat shirt but it does have the 1/4 length sleeves.

Yesterday I saw people wearing tank tops and sleeveless and others in jeans and jackets.

As cold as I get, though, I will avoid wearing a jacket as much as possible. I hate having to wear a jacket.

I don't like cold at all, I usually start to wear hat and scarf in late October and I keep them till early April. For me temperature below 10°C (=50°F) are "cold", and anything below -5°C (23°F) makes me want to remain at home and to not go anywhere.
Ironically, I live on the Alps in an area famous for skiing (we also hosted the winter Olympic games in 2006), and so in one of the coldest areas in Italy.

Last winter in Detroit was the WORST winter in my 54 years.... Not just cold but the wind blew everyday...THAT made it seem colder...the wind chill was 30* below zero some days....Single right temps are too cold for me...

I tolerate cold easily. My wife does not. We retired to dallas area to be near family rather than houston where I worked for 30,years.
I,can play, golf year around here other than days it's raining heavily or freezing so the courses close. I don't own a warm jacket nor need one here. I play golf in shorts and a short sleeve golf shirt only down to 45 degrees if wind is below 10 mph. At higher winds or closer to 40 d regret I put on a t shirt under gold shirt and sometimes wear long pants. Legs and face never get cold but sometimes body cores does so this, addition does the trick. I've lived in colder places like northern NJ and Pittsburgh a few years while working. I,did not need a winter coat in NJ since i,was rarely stuck out in the cold. I did need one in pittsburgh where we had a week of temperatures near or below zero as highs, for the day. Skiing in cold weather I wore a ski jacket but honestly never felt too cold to stay out.

I do not tolerate cold well. And temps in the 40s F are very cold to me. I react to cold as some people do to heat - I become very tired and sleepy, and irritable. We are going through a spell of this weather now, but fortunately I have been afflicted with a bad cold by the spirits who dwell on yon mountain, so the town is spared the wrath of an uncomfortable Mr. Grumpy.
