He shouldn't have been arrested or charged with anything - he was on his OWN property and these thugs were vandalizing it.

no intention of harming them. an attempt to prevent low level vandalizing of his property.
the moral outrage comes from any attempt whatsover to establish boundaries with deviate behavior. punishment is abhorred in america. "they were children" is used to defend rape and murder. that is not a criminal, that is my 15 year old baby.

Forgive my ignorance, but why fox urine? Is there a significance to that particular animal's pee? And how does one go about collecting fox urine to fill a spray gun - I would imagine they would try to wiggle out of his hands before he could bring the cup to their pee-holes? Sorry if this sounds sily, but I am dead serious!

Scott Wager is now my hero

The article doesn't give many details but I imagine the charges might be coming from the fact that the article says "He also allegedly struggled with one of the teens." He may have actually physically assaulted one of them and it's difficult to claim self defense if the teens did not enter his house or have weapons. Still ridiculous though and at the same time, the teens should also have charges pressed on them for trespassing and vandalism. It's bad enough that so many parents these days never seem to discipline their children and teachers are not allowed to but now even the government won't do it? So when some citizen who is fed up with it all decides to make a stand, he get punished?

I also have to wonder how he obtained fox urine though! And why! Maybe fox urine is particularly potent? Maybe I need to look into this - a squirt gun filled with something foul may come in handy the next time some foul mouthed little brat shouts "you're gonna get raped!" and other obscenities at me.

lol I just googled it, found fox urine is used as a pest repellent and thought to myself "Huh, who knew?" and then realized Scott Wager obviously knew!

Now if you'll excuse me, I must be off to buy a super soaker and some fox urine....

Great Scott, just because some little squirts are on a roll trying two ply their trade is no reason for this guy to get pissy and tell these kids "urine for it" and then wipe them out. It was a yellow thing to do and in my view he doesn't know squat for going with the flow.
