At work when I have to go downstairs for something I try to think of everything I should take/do while there. It never fails. Either I forget to take something with me or I forget to do something while I'm there. Stairs... many, many stairs.

My daughter mentioned last week that she and her sig-other had just bought a Dutch oven for their apartment, and I realized that we had a second one we seldom use that we could have given them.

Holiday cards, a few days before Christmas. With most bill-paying on line or done by automatic EFT withdrawals, I seldom if ever mail out a check any more, and most correspondence seems to be electronic, too. I miss the time when it seemed reasonable and worthwhile to sit down with a good pen and a pad of high-quality paper to write a real honest-to-goodness letter.

Soups are high on the list, particularly a nice solid beef-barley. Tomato soup with a grilled cheese sandwich. Most things with noodles.

Hair is brown with grey streaks, eyes are chameleon (basic color is blue-grey, but if I wear green, they look green, if I wear teal, they look teal, if I wear blue, they look blue, etc.)

Either 9-wide or 9.5 medium, depending on how they're shaped. I'm all about comfort; wouldn't wear a tight shoe or high heels if you held a gun to my head.
