I get the honors. I have more patience than my DH. I screen the people first and if they sound promising I give the phone to my DH.

Endurance like running.

Do you buy your stamps in a book or a roll ?

In a book. I don't send out much mail anymore.

I checked out Freebie sites. I love a good deal. I also checked the grocery deals for this week. Nothing good.

Amazing after all these years, that show can still make me laugh. Lucille Ball was one talented comedian.

That's what happens to me when I get on a scaffold. It's completely irrational.

Today is:

Crab-Stuffed Flounder Day- Yummy

Drink Wine Day- Sorry, I don't care for wine or liquor for that matter.

Lucky me! We don't own this home, so others (LOTS of others) get the experience the thrill of contacting and contracting. When we owned a house, the job fell to me since I had the most time.

I believe I'll choose dog mushing for my sport. The sled-dog races are heating up, so I can get out and enjoy the snow before "foreign" dogs come through and leave germs. If the Athletic Fairy will whisk me away to somewhere tropical, I wouldn't mind learning to scuba dive.

The local post office tends to only carry the single page sheets of stamps.

While patiently awaiting the ? of the Day, I've sleepily bebopped around various threads and spent time chatting with my husband before he left for work. I haven't gone to bed yet.

Thumb Appreciation Day - My daughter is going to love this! By some quirk of creation and ancestry, she ended up with club thumb. A club thumb is unusually short and fat, disproportionate to the other fingers. She once read that it's also called Indian thumb because Native Americans often have such thumbs. She's 1/16 Native American, so I guess that explains the unusual thumbs although none of the other relatives that I know of have such thumbs. Then again, I'm not in the habit of examining people's hands; I didn't even notice my daughter's weird thumbs--she pointed them out to me after reading about Indian thumb. ( Aren't mothers supposed to be more observant? )

Which sporting/athletic ability would you like her to bestow upon you for the upcoming weekend ? Either the Laundry Carry or the Vacuum Cleaner Relay or the Baseboard wash and scrubber derby!

Extra Credit Question:

Do you buy your stamps in a book or a roll ? I think the book is a thing of the past ??? When I ask for a "book" I get a "sheet".

Did up the kitchen....took the dog out ....repotted a plant.... made the bed.....and watched some news.

Ice Skating, so I could help out w/DS lesson

Extra Credit Question:

In a book, though I won't be needing them for a while. Don't mail that much, first of all, and sometime last year I bought 5 books of the forever stamps because they will be good forever!

I have been running around the house picking up just enough so it "looks" clean, you know get it to the point where it looks like I keep a "clean house that might be a little messy today", rather than the house that is "always a mess and was just picked up in a hurry to make it look clean" LOL.

gotta get back to it, still a few areas that need attention before my SIL shows up.

Good morning Karla!

Question: If you do work around the hose, who is the lucky person who gets to make the calls, get the estimates, etc.
I nominate myself, sad as it is!

Which sporting/athletic event would you bestow upon you this weekend?
Definitely some sort of endurance test-running, swimming, etc. -am pretty arthritic so I don't move around that great.

Do you sell your stamps on a book or a roll? In a book.

Like YoungLisa7, am a Lucille Ball fan. What a talent she was!

Today-drink wine day. Didn't for a long time, but enjoy red wine every now and then!
Have a super day people!
