A new day!

I like the "clean slate" feeling of a new day, the chance to re-tackle jobs from yesterday, to have some fun, maybe learn something. A new day is hope.

Today DH took the training wheells off of DS's bike and he rode it on his own without them just fine! He didn't get far, but kept trying, and never actually fell...he would aim for the grass and just stop. He's getting the hang of starting off by himself and is very excited. It's a great thing to see; he wants to practice more tomorrow so he can show his friends down the street--all of them are also 5 and took their training wheels off earlier this year. DS wants to join in, which is wonderful!

I had a GREAT day! I spent 3 hours tromping around the IKEA compound....errr...local store. I was exhausted and couldn't make a decision. I then went to WalMart only to find the VERY SAME stuff for $200 LESS and got all my shopping done in 20 minutes!!!

Moral of the story: Hate on WalMart if you want.....but you are paying a whole lot more feeling fancy shopping elsewhere.
