My happy thing today is hugs.

Whether I am having a fabulous day or a dreadful one, there is nothing quite like a good hug from a dear friend to restore my equilibrium. That momentary invasion of each others' spaces, breaching the bubble and allowing ourselves the basic comfort of human contact, is more than merely a nice thing to do – it is a fundamental reminder of our connections to one another, and to all of humanity.

What is your happy today, on this or any subject?

So far today I'm just glad DS got ready for school and then on the bus with no problems. An easy morning compared to every other morning this week!

One of my Happy things today, is when I hear my 4 y.o. G. daughter out of the blue, tell me she loves me. I love when she does this. We'll be in the car or, or have a moment of quiet, and she just says "I love you, MiMi". Melts my heart.

How sweet! My son used to do that, and it would be really funny, because he would be in his room playing, and all of a sudden he would run outside and yell, "I love you Mom" and then go back in and go about his business!! He would do it if people were over, too, so it got to be a joke, and someone would say "Ok, what is he doing that he's not supposed to"!! That was never the case though, I guess it just came upon him and he needed to let me know?!?!

Got the grass mowed and hedges trimmed this morning with the help of one of my granddaughters..
Later I am taking one of the grandsons to drive around the drivers license course and practice parallel parking in preparation for his drivers test Monday...He has to clean my car inside and out though to impress the officer.. and just because I said so

I think I found 'em for you, bjh - and if you would like a transplant, I would LOVE to give them back, with interest!

Another happy thing! This one is actually a good one.... All my kids are healthy! Even the twins who were born 6 weeks early are 16 months and weigh 26 lbs as of yesterday! Little chunky princesses!
