lol ok today I am not going to be the last person to answer

Today's Question(s):

Do you Mow your lawn(yardwork) or do you have "people" ?

I do the yard work
I love mowing the lawn and have come to a "understanding" with the weed whacker & edger lol
The only yard work I am not thrilled with is raking up the dead grass form our freezes this past winter, I have done this twice so far and hopefully will only have to do it once more. This is the one thing I wish I had "people " for .

Bonus Question:

Have you ever had the battery on either your cordless home phone or Cell phone run out while you were using it ?

Lol yesterday as I mentioned I spent the whole day making calls for donations for a up-coming fundraiser.
I had the batteries in each of the cordless phone run out

I did get some great items for the fundraiser though

I have also "talked" the cellphone battery to death

Extra Credit Question:

Which would describe you ?

Depends on the situation if it has to do with business I am quite a to the point person
However in fundraising you have to "test the waters" beat around the bush a bit

Just for Fun:

When was the last time you

Ate jelly beans ? - wow I think it has been years hmmm must change that

Washed your car ? - Lets see I had the oil changed a few months ago best part is they wash the car
lol We are getting a car detailing donated for the fundraiser lol want to bet who is going to be bidding on this !!!

Tried a new food ? - rofl I am still "milking" the musk ox I tried 1 1/2 years ago when we were in Alaska with Rance & Sweden

Though more recently I think I may of tried some broccoli just to see if it was still as yucky as I remember yup it was lol

Tried a new food?

I watched Andrew Zimmern last night on the Travel Channel. He was eating some kind of fermented, spoiled tofu and was fried and then covered with a variety of equally nauseating vittles and it was so bad that he actually made himself sick (in addition to most of the audience including my wife and I).

Yes, I know I didn't answer the question. I am somewhat adventurous but it's been a while. I do know the next new food I intend to try. Next time I'm in Delaware, I promised the wife I'd try soft shell crabs. She loves them. I've avoided them, so far - but living on the Delamarva peninsula, they will be harder to avoid.

I hope everyone has a wonderful day!

[b]Today's Question(s):

Do you Mow your lawn(yardwork) or do you have "people" ? I don't do it myself, so I guess you could say I have people, lol, as in my husband!

Bonus Question:

Have you ever had the battery on either your cordless home phone or Cell phone run out while you were using it ? Yes to both, and how annoying it is! Beep...beep....beep....

Extra Credit Question:

Which would describe you ?

Straight to the point --I have been told many times that I am too blunt, but I just don't see the point in beating around the bush when I definitely have an answer...I'm not rude, just to the point. Some people I guess just don't like directness. Oh well!

Just for Fun:

When was the last time you

Ate jelly beans ? Monday night...found some DH hid the the cupboard!
Washed your car ? Hmmm, maybe a couple months ago when it was very warm out.
Tried a new food ? Saturday night, at dinner with some neighbors. One ordered endamame and offered it...I had to help her pronounce it when she ordered it, so figured I should try it.

Today's Question(s):

Do you Mow your lawn(yardwork) or do you have "people" ?

When I had a lawn of my own I did it, now I live in an apartment so somebody is hired to do it.

Bonus Question:

Have you ever had the battery on either your cordless home phone or Cell phone run out while you were using it ?

Countless times, I can talk for a long time.

Extra Credit Question:

Which would describe you ?

Straight to the point
or
Beat around the bush

Straight to the point usually.

Just for Fun:

When was the last time you

Ate jelly beans ?
I can't remember.
Washed your car ?
Last time I owned a car was 2 years ago and I washed it before I gave it to a young couple who had just gotten pregnant and couldn't afford one.
Tried a new food ?
I can't remember that one either, there's not a lot of variety in the local shops.

Today's Question(s):

Do you Mow your lawn(yardwork) or do you have "people" ?

We mow our own since moving back to the Midwest. When we lived in Texas, we hired it done, because my spouse is allergic to bee stings and the area where we lived was infested with Africanized bees. There were several incidents of people and animals being stung to death when the bees would attack, and one of the triggers that would start them was the buzzing sound of mowers and edgers. I very quickly concluded that I'd rather pay someone to come in a couple of times a month to mow than risk becoming a young widow.

Bonus Question:

Have you ever had the battery on either your cordless home phone or Cell phone run out while you were using it ?

No, I hate talking on the phone and finish all conversations as quickly as I possibly can. If I answer the phone at all, that is.

Extra Credit Question:

Which would describe you ?

Straight to the point
or
Beat around the bush

Hmmm, well, I guess the best way to describe it would be to the point in a diplomatic sort of way.

Just for Fun:

When was the last time you

Ate jelly beans ?

Can't remember, it's been decades. I'm not fond of them.

Washed your car ?

Right before the last time it rained.... so this past Saturday.

Tried a new food ?

At this point in my life, there aren't many foods that I haven't tried. We try new recipes all the time, but it's hard to recall the last time I ate an actual food item that I hadn't ever tried before. I guess it might have been when we still lived in Texas and I tried some Mexican regional foods that I hadn't had before, like tripitas, sweetbreads and cabrito. Since moving back to the Midwest, it's hard to find any food item that is totally new to me. But fortunately, there are infinitely varied ways of preparing food, so I'm in no danger of getting bored with food!

I have people. I tried to mow a tiny part of my yard two years ago and only barely managed to get in the house to get my rescue inhaler. Even that little bit was too much.

Have you ever had the battery on either your cordless home phone or Cell phone run out while you were using it ?
Happened with my cell phone once. I was glad. The bag of wind I was talking to wouldn't shut up! I kept telling her my phone was going dead, going dead... She just kept talking, I didn't turn it on again for three days.

Which would describe you ?
Beat around the bush

When was the last time youAte jelly beans ? two years ago
Washed your car ? last week
Tried a new food ? Last week
