My son goes to Bluffton University. This is the school that the 5 young men and 2 bus drivers lost their lives in the Atlanta bus accident. My son was close friends with all of these boys and it's been a tough time for him and all of the school mates. The thought just crossed my mind that this will be the first holiday that the parents of these kids will experience. Those of you that have a religion that you believe in, please keep these families in your prayers, and those who don't have a religion to believe in, please send good thoughts.

Have a great Easter everyone, and be thankful for all the love that you have, in any aspect.

I do have a God I believe in and I send prayers for these family's and your son too.

Good point, we all need to be thankful for our family's and friends and cherish every moment as if it were the last.

Such a horrible tragedy.

In Atlanta we read the bios and saw the portraits of those who did not survive the crash. Atlanta grieved along with Bluffton as we watched the news and received daily updates on the hospitalized players and coach. I believe we still have one of the Bluffton students recovering at Grady Hospital.

Yes, prayers for strength, peace and healing.

Not to sadden you all, but I want to share this with you. This happened prior to Zach Arend's passing.

At the funeral for Tyler Williams, the pastor that was performing the ceremony and said, (and I'm sorry that this won't be his exact words), that in his minds eye that he could see a baseball game in heaven. Tyler Williams was at the plate, Scott Harmon was on first, David Betts on second, and Cody Holp on third. Tylers team was down by 3 and there was 2 out. The count was 3 and 2. The pitcher pitched the ball and Tyler hit it all the way to the fence in left field. Cody scored, Bettsie followed, Scott scored and Tyler was digging in as the throw was tossed to the plate. Tyler slid in safely and got up and started brushing the dirt off of his uniform, but stopped when he realized that someone was brushing his uniform off for him. He turned to see the smiling face of Jesus.

Needless to say, not a dry eye was to be found in that filled church.

May God softly ease the sorrow of the families and friends of these dear young men. Knowing they're with Jesus is great comfort in itself.
