Happy Easter!

I'm trying out a new ham recipe. What is everyone doing?

Actually, chicken and dumplings. I thought about doing the corned beef roast, but am gonna save it for another day. Poached salmon in garlic and lemon (next to last fillet in the freezer, hurry up kings). Death by chocolate layer cake.
Tossed salad and Ranch or bleu cheese dressing. Parker house rolls.

Rah, rah, baah. I'll be popping in and out throughout the day as the stove calls me.

Wow. That sounds great! I'm trying some glaze with honey mustard, swiss cheese and bread crumbs. You put pineapple and onion in the pan with the ham. Sounds weird but I'm bored!

The salmon sounds like it is to die for. I miss cold water fish. I'm originally from New England.

Crush the garlic in lemon juice, sprinkle lightly with sauce and sea salt. Bake for 35 minutes at 325. Check for flaky meat. Garnish with half a dozen lemon slices and set out remaining juice for taste. Dynamite dish, but we eat it 3-4 times a year. Living here, you CAN get tired of salmon.

New smoker this year will do 12 BIG filets at a time, or I can make salmon spread for dip or sandwiches.

I make all the big meals in our house. Even She admits I'm a better cook.

Great tip!

Lucky you, Karla!

My daughter has a cold so we stayed in. Getting ready to throw that glaze on!
