Seems like a tragic case for a teenager but why was this ever a problem to begin with? Do all of us spend too much time interacting with others online? And what’s the deal with 20-22 years in prison? Seems to me that a judge should make up his/her mind and set a specific number of years without parole in a case like this. Two lives wasted, the dead fathers and now the son’s; and all over nothing other then “my-space. I’d say this is very stupid and unnecessary on the part of the son. Parents get a hold of your teens!

Couldn't he have just sneaked onto Myspace when dad wasn't home - like every other kid does? Maybe went to a friends house and got online there? I can't imagine murdering your parents - especially over something so trivial. We had a young man here in La Quinta who shot and killed his mother because she wouldn't let his girlfriend and her child move in with them. People are nuts!!!

What is scary is that this jag off will be out of prison in his mid 30's. Great! That's just enought time to become even more bitter and hateful towards people, then he will be set free with no education, training or proper social skills. I wonder who his next victim will be when that time comes.

Yes, it's a tragedy all around, and unfortunately, the tragedy will start all over again when he is released.
