How much do you remember?

Who can remember where the gas cap was located on the 1957 Chevy?

If you look close at the chrome trim on the right rear fin you see an indentation. That's where it opened up as a door and the gas cap was in there

There were several cars that had the gas cap behind the license plate.

Who can remember seeing a woman wearing a hat like the one in the picture of the (man what a beautiful car) '57 Chevy?

And how about those gloves? I think I'm getting a little turned on....

Back then "convenience" wasn't in such a demand, and a good percentage of things (work and fun) was done, more or less, by hand, which in turn created jobs for most every well bodied person that was able to walk.
Back then a computer was the size of a gymnasium.

But beleive it or not, we had a hell of a lot of fun back. There was always something to do.

I loved the gloves and we never dressed up without them, either worn or clutched in the hand that also held our "clutch" or "bucket " purse..( I wish they were popular again to hide the age spots on my hands )
Wish I had a nickle for every time I asked a girlfriend "Are my seams straight"
