You know how you go through a flea market or antique mall and there are old panes of stained glass taken out of buildings that were gonna be torn down. One of my brother's has some stained glass windows in his 100-year-old house. Then of course there are some magnificent stained glass windows in churchs.

They look really great, all the colors, especially when the sun hits them and you happen to be in the room that has the window. They're beautiful and that's cool.

What's making you happy? Long term or brief, yesterday or all your life...

For me it is the little things that make me happy.

Flying on a crowded flight and the only empty seat left on the flight is the one next to me.

Going around the bend on a highway I have never traveled before and finding myself in the middle of the Redwood Forest.

Finding a 5 dollar bill in my wallet that I had forgotten about.

Not drawing the short straw when seeing who has to extract the skunk from the combine.

Instructors that drop your lowest test score for the semester.

Getting to the buffet 5 minutes before the lunch price changes over to the dinner price.

many things make me happy but none more as to bring joy into a friend's life, creating laughter or better yet recieving the gift of laughter from someone else.

lol Alaskan Mutt...all good things indeed.

My happy thing is.....Saturday we were supposed to ride over and watch a shuttle launch.
Well we got up at 4 met out friends at 5:30 and headed for the coast...beautiful roads and at that hour no one was on them.
What we didn't know was that the launch had been scrubbed the night before but nobody watched the news.
With the group of friends we were with it was no big deal. We had a beautiful ride, watched the sunrise come up thru the trees and got to drive thru the national seashore without any traffic.

I love my easy goin friends.

Le Pepe was not much of a lover either after his trip thru the internal workings of the combine.

My happy thing was that my son's birthday party was on Saturday, and it was supposed to rain - - - but it didn't, and was actually nice and warm! I ended up letting my son and my daughter each have someone spend the night, and they all got along great! Those of you with kids know how rare and wonderful that is! They played Rock Band, went swimming at 10:30 at night, rode quads the next day - - - - it was a great day!!

LOL...my dogs!
A brief moment.....I was just sitting out side and it begun to thunder big times....which my Dachshunds just can not get use to that sound and they started barking.....
I also have a Min Pin who is growing into quite the character... LOL! My cat is bigger then him.....
He is now year and two months old and is developing a little big dog attitude....
He comes running blasting out the door because the other dogs are barking and he is all buffed up ready for a roll....LOL!
Gets in the middle of the other dogs looking up and around trying to be a big dog and figure out what or who are they after..... LOL!! Then it thunders again and he high tails it.....LOL!!!
Wish I could draw you all a picture! It was so funny and brought such laughter to my heart for a dull dark dreary Monday morning!!
I'm thankful for the happiness in the simple things in life and little dogs with a big dog attitude.....!!!
