moving rant, just ignore if you don't want to read my whining (free, house)

DH is already moved out, got a job in LA...I am still in Canada with the kids finishing up the school year.
I had to quit my home daycare to put the house up for sale, have realtors visit, pick one, stage the house and have between 1 and 3 viewings a day....this was while I still had a daycare running, they had to find a new provider.

The house was listed too high through Oct-Feb. Had Christmas and Thanksgiving thrown into it!
Let the listing run out.
Interviewed new realtors and had to restage the house according to their ideas.
All this while DH is still in LA and I have 2 small children.
Had to find contractor to tear out mudroom that took up half the garage. It was there when we bought it.
Planned March break in LA.
House sold during March break.
Had to do repairs that came out during inspection.
Had to find electrician all on my own.
I am purgingthe house of old stuff all on my own.
I had to prepare our taxes. 2 countries! 2 home businesses on top of Dhs reg. job.
I have been doing all Dhs jobs around the house on top of mine and the whole move has been planned by me.
Last week the hot water tank dies.
Got it repaired.
This week the fridge broke! Getting it looked at today.
Have school trips to volunteer at and packing to do.
The company sends a packer, but I ahve to pack our personal bags.
I just needed to vent, and if anyone actually read through this thanks!!

I have been swamped and on top of it have tried to get to the gym 3 times a week.I need to take care of myself too.

I am thankful he got this opportunity, but I am just exhausted mentally and physically and needed to vent!!!!

It's good to vent once in awhile........ just take it easy and you'll get through it one day at a time. Do you have relatives who live near by who could give you a break by taking care of the children for a few hours so you could have some free time and unwind alittle?

Oh gosh! I think you have earned the right to rant, vent, whatever you want!! Moving like that is always stressful, let alone having to handle it all on your own. I hope you have someone that can help with the kids here and there.

I have had a few nightmare moves, myself. Somehow, try to tell yourself that it will all be over soon, and you can pick up with a normal life again! Until then, I wish the best for you!

I agree - you've earned the right. Listen to Lucky Lady, she knows what she's talking about. I'm glad to hear you're taking care of yourself, tho.

One of these days, you'll look back on this and wonder how you made it thru sanely, but you will. Best of luck.
