I have an extensive collection of soaps and shampoos I collect from hotel rooms. I don't favor any one brand/type. They're all good.

Bath soap, Ivory Bar. Sometimes I'll use Dove (or the generic for Dove) just for a change.
Shampoo, preferable Herbal Essences but if something as good is on sale, will get that.

I have no real favorites. Years ago I use to get my hair cut at a beauty school. I think the school's owners were really pressing the students to try to get the customers to buy their overpriced products. Everytime I would get asked what shampoo I use. Unless I was using their product they would always tell me my shampoo used the same cleaners as oven cleaner.

I don't always buy the cheapest brands, but I am prone to buy whatever is on sale at the time I need it. There is only so much they can put into a cleaning product. If it does the job there is no reason to pay a fortune for it.
