Within the last two minutes I have let the cat in at the front door and lifted her up to where her food is, and let the dog in at the back door and given her a treat.
No, they don't rule the house at all!

My pets did rule but unfortunately I lost 2 cats and my dog within 6 months recently so the house completely belongs to Stu the cat now and he has absolutely no problem with that.

I can't breathe without my fur babies. Poor John, he is just not the animal person I am but I never saw him fall apart in our nearly thirty year marriage like he did the day we lost Princess Amber kitty last May. I swear he loved that cat more than me. We tussled back and forth for two months before I finally got my way and brought Monsoon home. He's 7 months old now, a total handful, and bigger then Joe Joe Nightmare the Yorkie. He's going to be a nice cat some day. Howie our nearly nine year old mutt best dog ever was raised from five months old with us. I love my babies but this kitten is too much sometimes. The three crazy girls are spending the night with us tonight. I love living in a zoo. I could easily become a pet hoarder if John would let me.

Not a pet owner. Because I DON'T want them to rule. Some friends admit that traveling is difficult when they have to make arrangements for their pet care, and I don't want the bother.

This is why I have a cat. The bf has a dog and we have to find someone to sit him and can't do anything spontaneous. I can leave the brat for 3 days and he's like bye!!! When the dog goes, no more dogs period!

Well I do have to admit, traveling brings one of two questions. Who's gonna watch the pet, or, will the hotel I'm going to, accept pets. A lot of the resorts I went to in Door County did allow small pets but required a deposit. Again, because I'm so unpredictably mobile, it's better I don't have one, in all fairness to it.
