I've still got a dirty dozen.
As long as idiots drop them off I'll take them in.
They rule the house for sure. I even hide the car keys.
Monster kitten ran down the hall one day carrying the keys.

What do you think?
This is downstairs...they were all stray or feral cats that I adopted.
Now you know why I call myself the crazee cat lady. I can't resist poor hungry homeless kitties.

I'll take a great big German Shepherd Dog, out on the farm, any day. No use for cats at all. In fact, I've been scared of them since one lunged at me and tore my leg up. I won't go in a house if there's a creepy cat there.

We have a dog that rules my husband, but he doesn’t rule me. We both love him, but I’m the one who tries to keep him remembering that he’s the dog.

Does he ask if he can borrow the car?

Until the last one died, we have had at least one, mostly 2 dogs since 1975. Along the way we have also had several cats, a rabbit, a pair of Zebra Finches, assorted fish and a Gerbil. None of them ever ruled the house, they were, after all just pets.

I am nothing more than a walking food dispenser to my wife's tabby. He's only friendly to me when she's at work, or he's hungry.

Our dogs (chihuahua and dachshund) do not rule our house and they told me I could say so. LOL

Hi. I'm newone here.
I have a dog and a cat. They live with us in the apartment. They are so funny. The cat chases the dog and thinks he is in charge. The dog, when he gets bored, starts running after the cat. That's how we live.
