I was wondering where you were Dbl-r!!

My answer is definitely High School!! Some wild and crazy memories there!! My parents gave me way too much freedom!!

Biggest adjustment period - Going from grade school with everything locked down and strict to high school with an open campus where you could skip classes so easily..................... Again, too much freedom!!

I hated elementary school....I was overweight and painfully shy.
Junior High School was okay. I discovered boys and lost weight. Grades 7-9 were awkward, transitional years for me.
I LOVED High School! My senior year was a BLAST! I cried so hard on graduation night...I never wanted that last year of school to end.

Being an Army Brat, I attended 7 schools until the middle of 8th grade, when my Father retired here in Texas. The military grade schools were fun, in Missouri and Germany. Georgia public schools were brutal. Texas was the worst until the summer before my Junior year, and my Mom finally let me get contact lens, cut my hair, and wear mini-skirts. It was a Cinderella like transformation for me when I returned to school after the summer. I got me a whole new set of friends, let me tell ya! Senior year the "party" began!!! LoL!!! Can't believe I'm still here to tell about it!!!
