MIDLAND, Texas - A Texas sheriff fired one deputy and suspended three others without pay after a scantily dressed waitress holding a rifle posed for photographs on the hood of a patrol vehicle.

Police said Round Rock officers were dispatched to a restaurant after someone reported the waitress with the weapon, which had been given to her by one of the Midland County deputies who had been attending a training session near Austin.

I used to be a dispatcher at a police department, I had a uniform and everything and even I wasn't allowed to touch their service weapons, including the rifle that mounts in the cars.

These brain donors should have known better.

Very stupid on the cops part.

Also as a side note, MSNBC and the AP should at least hire people who know the front from the rear of a vehicle. "posed for photographs on the hood of a patrol vehicle" When the photo they have in their story has her sitting on the trunk.

How did Tara Reid end up in Texas? And Bydand, that photo is messed up because Tara Reid didn't know what she was looking at. She was too drunk to know which side the camera faces.

I was reading about this in the Texas thread a few days ago. This is obviously really stupid for sheriff's deputies to be doing this kind of stuff.
