In the Balanta tribe of Africa, a bride remained married until her wedding gown was worn out. If she wanted a divorce after 2 weeks, all she had to do was rip up her dress.
LOL!!!!! As if there aren't enough divorces and separations nowadays....let's only have people married until there clothes fall apart!!! THat is too funny! Who would make the dress? Dad. To make sure that his daughter stayed married otherwise he would have to return the goat or cow he got for her!!!! LOL!!!!!
