I don't normally dress for Halloween, but this year I am going to be at an event out of town where I "have" to do it. But I can never think of any ideas!! So, I'm calling out for help!
Adult costume idea
Simple is better
Will be traveling, so it cannot be extensive either in size or props -- suitcase space is very limited!!
Because of space limitation, maybe more make-up based rather than clothing based?
So far, my best idea is "devil in a blue dress".....blue dress and a small plastic pitchfork and horns. This works because I can wear the blue dress another time so it is not wasting space in the suitcase. But it doesn't work because I will be with people from NC and don't want to be mistaken for a Duke blue Devil. (Now, you Duke fans don't go getting your panties in a wad....it's not because I don't like the team or anything, but simply because it is not the intent of the costume idea!!)
Please tell me good ideas or something great you have seen in the past! Thanks!!

I saw a girl do a mermaid costume once that was oustanding. She used actual shells for the bra and a floor length sequined skirt with a very slight train to it shaped like fins.

Now for a guy I saw a friend dressed like quite the nerd...glasses, white shirt buttoned to the top, pocket protector and a name tag with the name Clark on it. As the evening progressed he did a strip on the dance floor and had a Superman costume underneath. Clark Kent/Superman

Heres an original. A tan coloured body-suit and leotards. A trenchcoat. And those big ol' costume glasses with that big fake nose. You get the picture? A flasher?! And they cant say you flashed them because you are wearing a body-suit, they just didnt see it because the 'flash' was too fast! Cant get arrested for that one, lol.
(I can already envision both Mikes in here trying this one, ha!)

I dressed up as a NUN last Halloween. My son dressed up as Dracula and I was a Nun.
Oh back to your question, OP.

Bag of Jellybeans !!!
This will take up very little room in your suitcase
Get a clear trash bag and a couple bags of those round balloons
Cut 2 holes in the bottom of the bag for your legs then fill the bag with the balloons
you can also cut 2 holes for your arms and use a wide ribbon to tie the top of the bag around your neck
If you want to be a hit you can wrap up some jellybeans in saran wrap toi hand out at the party
If you already have the blue dress you can also go as the "Pacific Ocean" just cut out Australia and pin it on the dress you can also pin other countries on your back

Genie costumes are sexy as hell and all night long you'll get people asking you for three wishes.
