Good morning everyone
Happy Wednesday
Well it is going to be 90 today in NEFL oh joy lol !!
Looks like summer is still here

We were suppose to have rain the last 3 days so I turned my sprinkler off and of course it didn't rain so I have to go out and do some hand watering as soon as I ask

Today's Question(s):

How many in our "question family" are experiencing "Open Window" weather ?

If not yet,when are you usually able to open them to enjoy the breezes ?

Bonus Question:

Lets discuss Quirks !!!

Ok, we all have them, so being the cozy little family that we have become I thought it would be fun to see how many of us might share the same Quirks

So tell us, what are some of your Quirks ?

Extra Credit Question:

The other day I so wanted to just "Stand Up & Yell" _______________ !!!

Just for Fun:

What are your favorite chores to do around the house ?

Have you ever collected rocks ?

Do you own a raincoat ?

Today in History:
1620 - On this day, 102 passengers and crew set sail on the "Mayflower" from Plymouth, England. Their destination was the New World. This hearty group of 41 men, the rest, women and children; half religious dissenters and half entrepreneurs, made it to Provincetown, Massachusetts on November 21, 1620. A month later, the Plymouth Colony was founded by the passengers of the "Mayflower".
1908 - General Motors was founded on this day. The man responsible for the beginning of the huge auto-manufacturing company (maker of Cadillac, Buick, Oldsmobile, Pontiac, Chevrolet) was William Crapo ‘Billy’ Durant.
1968 - Richard Nixon appears on "Laugh-in"
1981- the pilot episode of Miami Vice aired on NBC-TV

Happy Hump Day!

Today's Question(s):

How many in our "question family" are experiencing "Open Window" weather ? I am

Bonus Question:

Lets discuss Quirks !!!

Ok, we all have them, so being the cozy little family that we have become I thought it would be fun to see how many of us might share the same Quirks

So tell us, what are some of your Quirks ? Wow, this is too general. I think of quirks as being in categories.

When I leave my house, I always turn my knob on the door after I lock it -- even though I know that it's locked. But, that's just one of many quirks.

Extra Credit Question:

The other day I so wanted to just "Stand Up & Yell" What were you thinking when you put on those skin tight jeans. And, by the way, how did you get those on?!!!

Just for Fun:

What are your favorite chores to do around the house ? I don't have any favorites

Have you ever collected rocks ? When I was young.

Do you own a raincoat ? Nope. I'm an umbrella type of guy.

Extra Credit Question:

Today's Question(s):

How many in our "question family" are experiencing "Open Window" weather ?

Oh, yeah... Today's high is forecast for 73, and it's cool, crisp, clear and lovely right now. I love autumn in the Midwest.

If not yet,when are you usually able to open them to enjoy the breezes ?

This was a pretty typical summer. We needed the window AC's a few times, but it's been open-window weather most of the summer.

Bonus Question:

Lets discuss Quirks !!!

Ok, we all have them, so being the cozy little family that we have become I thought it would be fun to see how many of us might share the same Quirks

So tell us, what are some of your Quirks ?

I can't stand going to bed if there are any dirty dishes in the sink. I'm a packrat (trying to reform). I love jewelry but don't wear nearly as much as I did when I was younger. I never wear high heels. I still wear nylons to work every day.

Extra Credit Question:

The other day I so wanted to just Stand Up & Yell
"if your car won't go any faster than 40 mph, then get off the #%&*$ expressway" !!!

Just for Fun:

What are your favorite chores to do around the house ?

Favorite chores? That's something of an oxymoron, don't you think, Karla?

I don't mind washing dishes, and I really enjoy cooking, though I don't often get the opportunity to do so. And there is something deeply satisfying about tackling a cluttered, overflowing, disorganized cabinet or drawer and transforming it into an orderly space. I should do that more often.

Have you ever collected rocks ?

Yes, I did as a child.

Do you own a raincoat ?

Sure do, though I haven't needed it for weeks. We haven't had any rain here in south-central Wisconsin since mid-August. That probably means that we're destined for a week-long steady downpour starting about Sunday afternoon, when the spouse and I leave for our annual vacation.
