Today's Question(s):

The "Laughing with you, not at you Fairy" is going to be coming to visit

What would one of your more recent "oops, don't laugh, but I can't believe I ____________ moments you would share with her ?

I can't believe I freaked out when hubby told me the owner of our house (who is one of his former colleagues) was coming to visit us last week. I cleaned the whole house twice, everything was more than sparkling. And all he actually see was the living-room, where we had a drink and a chat... I knew he wouldn't go in each and every room, but I just needed everything to be perfect!

Bonus Question:

Do you usually go in or use the drive-thru at the :
Bank
ATM rarely but it will happen.
Fast Food
Cleaners
I'm not very fond of drive thrus actually.

Extra Credit Question:

How many people use your computer

At home ? 2

At work ? n/a

Today is:
National Dessert Day Wasn't that like two days ago already???
International Top Spinning Day
Be Bald and Free Day(Bald is Beautiful Day)

Dear QOTD friends, don't look for me in the next few days, we are leaving tomorrow for a long week-end in NYC!
I'll be back on the internet next Tuesday...
Have a great day!

Laughable moment?
I'm sure there is something more laughable than this, but Monday I pulled up to our mailbox intent on checking the mail. When it was empty I remembered that if was Columbus Day which is a federal holiday. The thing that made it a little ridiculous was that I should have known that because as a bank employee, I was off that day!

Go in or drive thru?
Bank? I work at a bank. So I'm already in.
ATM? drive-thru
Cleaners? drive thru usually
Fast Food? definitely drive-thru

How many use computer?
at work? We all have a PC at our desks.
at home? Two of us, husband & I

Winnie the Pooh Day?
I was always very fond of Winnie the Pooh and his gang.

Last edited by kaykay; 10-14-2009 at 08:38 AM.. Reason: Had to comment on Winnie the Pooh

Good morning all and Happy Hump Day!!

The "Laughing with you, not at you Fairy" is going to be coming to visit

What would one of your more recent "oops, don't laugh, but I can't believe I ____________ moments you would share with her ? It was more like a duh moment. Yesterday I bought a new scale and a new Crockpot. I put the battery in the scale last night and part of the LED is broken. I'm starting to get used to new things not working. Anyway, this morning I filled the new Crockpot and plugged it in and waited, and waited for it to get warm. I told my hubby this thing is also broken until he showed me I plugged in the wrong plug.

Do you usually go in or use the drive-thru at the :
Bank-Go in.

ATM-Don't use.

Fast Food Drive thru.

Cleaners Don't use.

How many people use your computer

At home ? Most of the time it is just me. Occasionally my hubby will use it.

At work ? N/A
[/b]

I never thought something as simple as ____________ would turn into a "project" ?[/b] The other day my hubby and I took out the bathtub in the second bathroom. How hard could that be right?? So we took the tile, plaster, and sheet rock down with a sledge hammer. Then hubby says ok we should be able to just pull it out. Yeah right, it was a cast iron tub. We couldn't budge the darned thing. So back to the sledge hammer. Hubby says he saw on TV where they were able to split a cast iron tub using a sledge hammer. Oh no here we go. After about 2 hours we finally got the tub cut in half and out to the dumpster. So much for an easy job.

National Dessert Day Now that's my kind of day.

Be Bald and Free Day(Bald is Beautiful Day) Happy Mike Day.

Gotta go work. Have a great day.
