Good morning peevers.

I was in a good mood.

I started to type this thread about half an hour ago and since then one thing or another has stopped me from continuing.

Ever had this situation, or maybe that's the story of your life- constantly prevented from getting on with the thing you want or need to?

We're going to find out because the POTD is;

Hang on the phone just rang again

Let me get on with this and stop interrupting me!

There's not a lot new round here to show you, so here are some shots taken over the last day.

The quality of them isn't great, but you have to grab the moment!

Poppy's latest resting place on the back of a sofa;

The two rascals at my feet as I type;

The peeve of which you speak is a common experience for wives when their husbands retire. Not that I'm speaking from experience or anything like that. Oh nooooo!

I can't get enough of the continuing adventures of Molly and Poppy. Poppy looks so relaxed on the back of that sofa. By the way, many of the Jacquie Lawson greeting cards feature a chocolate Lab named Chudleigh.

It's also a common experience for children keeping elder parents in their time of old age. Not that I would know either.

Everything is so green!!!!

I hate being interrupted when I'm trying to finish a task. Hmmm...like when I'm trying to sleep after a night shift but my one cat thinks I should be awake to give her loves and watch her eat. They can be such brats but I luv the little boogers anyways

Good day Jezer just love the photos

Let me get on with this and stop interrupting me!

Oh I know that feeling,when you are not busy everything is calm,but when you ARE busy we get interrupted all the time. My most recent one was Saturday,when my youngest one came home from University. He was expected to come in the evening so I had planned a relaxing day just doing my stuff. Guess who showed up at 10 am instead ...well he kept me company all day long,he felt the need to chat with me all day. Mind you he is 21,thought he would have more interesting things to do. Nope.Now I am in the midst of Christmas baking and now all those sudden calls come...sometimes I wonder if it is conspiracy

Good peeve, Jezer. This happens to me all day long at work - will no sooner get into the groove and get interrupted.

The kids look so content in the pictures

Meetings and conference calls are the worst! Typical work day used to be... go to a meeting, get all the details of the work that needs to be done, but can't get it done because... got to stop working to go to the next meeting on... more work that needs to be done... then, got to stop again for a conference call, or two, or four... to discuss the status of work done and what needs to be done next... but, who had time to actually work anymore?!?

Great tip and photos, Jezer!
