I remember that story and how Ruth would put a few cabbage leaves over ice until they were quite cold and then where one leaf would fit a 'normal' head, Ruth had to use 2 leaves. Opposing teams made reference to Ruth's size and perhaps ego and the cabbage leaves by making remarks about 'ham and cabbage'. Fun fact. Thank you.
