Today's Question(s):
So know we know what you don't want, what you have hinted for so lets see what else can we discover

I can not wait to see my son's face when they open up the "fake $100 Dunkin Donuts gift card" I got them for Christmas ? His real gift will be brought in after all the gifts under the tree are unwrapped. He's getting his speaker and amp...half stack that he's been wanting!! We found a good d
eal on Craigslist..used... but what he wants!! No way I could begin to touch a new one!! He'll watch everyone else open up gifts and he'll get some jeans and a shirt...but this gift card will be his "big" gift. I will tell him that since he couldn't come up with any affordable ideas, that I decided that he could use this card to buy his breakfast sandwiches...I'll act all enthusiastic about it...like it is something he would like. I truly can't wait to see how he handles this!!! LOL I won't torchure him for too long.

Extra Credit Question:

Not to cause a panic, but tomorrow is Christmas Eve !!!

What last minute things do you still have left to do ? Stocking stuffers for ALL my boys and hubby!!

Bonus Question:
I was having this discussion with a friend the other day

If you found out a favorite restaurant that you go to a lot was sited with a bunch of violations during the last inspection, would you still go to the restaurant or find somewhere else to go ? Ummm....I'd probably still go....cause being cited would have made them have to fix the problems or get shut down!!! LOL

Mrs D and I don't get each other anything (she's got me what else could she want) and she buys stuff for everyone else. I'm as surprised as anyone.

Put the Lazagna in the oven tomorrow, pack everything into the car and go to MIL's.

I have had 3 jobs that had me in restaurant kitchens. I can count on my hand the clean ones. At least most of their stuff is cooked. I have also been in places where they cut meat. You don't want to know what's in some meat saws.

Everyone I bought presents for are a couple thousand miles away so I will not get to see their reactions. However, I am sure there will be a raised eyebrow or two then they open the presents.

Get some grub. Do not want to have to go to the grocery store on the day before Christmas.

It would really depend on what they were cited for. It would have to be something really bad to chase me away. Years ago I used to go to a diner that actually advertised "Come see the grease on the walls". They had the best food. And yes the walls in the kitchen were greasy.

Ouch... how do you like to see yourself making history by becoming the first persons to orbit the moon, and the first person to get space motion sickness?

Good Morning Karla and friends...

I'm so happy to hear about fuzzymystic's son coming home...what a wonderful Christmas present for their family.

I've been sick with the stomach flu for the past four days, and didn't even feel like getting on my laptop, so I'm a bit behind. It's good to be back, altho this will be abbreviated! I just want to send Holiday Greetings to you all, may your Christmas be blessed.

Have a wonderful Wednesday!

Can't wait to see my husband's face when he opens up gift card I got him from Best Buy (to get new cd player for his car. His is broken and has been for while.)

Last minute items?
grocery shopping, Heath bars for husband's stocking!

Restaurant question?
Hmmm...I don't know if I'd still go or not.Probably not, at least until I felt they had it straightened out. It would also depend on nature of the citations too ... if I knew.

I can not wait to see my granddaughter's face when she open up the presents and stocking stuffers we got her for Christmas ?

A little shopping for food....make a pie....straighten up the house and do some laundry.

I would refrain from going at least until it got a clean bill of health in a subsequent inspection.
I would even be cautious then......the kitchen manager knows what needs to be done and if they chose to put my health and the health of my family at risk........I am not sure I would go back.
