Good morning everybody! Hope you all have an enjoyable day.

So know we know what you don't want, what you have hinted for so lets see what else can we discover

I can not wait to see my nieces' faces when they open up the tons of Barbies I got them for Christmas ?

Extra Credit Question:
Not to cause a panic, but tomorrow is Christmas Eve !!!

What last minute things do you still have left to do ? Pack up cookies for recipients, clean the place more.

Bonus Question:
I was having this discussion with a friend the other day

If you found out a favorite restaurant that you go to a lot was sited with a bunch of violations during the last inspection, would you still go to the restaurant or find somewhere else to go ?
This did happen to us...well, actually it was rumors (in the often-wrong local newspaper) that there were dead CATS in the freezer. The report did not stop us from going to this place, we just made sure not to order cat.

If you found out a favorite restaurant that you go to a lot was sited with a bunch of violations during the last inspection, would you still go to the restaurant or find somewhere else to go ? Hard to say if the violations were extreme I am sure they would shut them down for safety reasons so I am undecided

Good morning, happy Wednesday & speed-bump day everyone.
Not only is it "speed-bump / hump day" of the week, but it's also that for finishing Christmas shopping.
Only 2 days for Christmas & 1 & 1/2 day to finish shopping.
Good luck & everyone have a Very Merry Christmas.

And special welcome home wish to thread member "fuzzymystic".
I know it must be great for her to have her son home from Iraq for Christmas.
That must be one of the greatest Christmas gifts she could ever receive!

Today's Question(s):
So know we know what you don't want, what you have hinted for so lets see what else can we discover

I can not wait to see my sister & moms face when they open up the perfume & jackets I got them for Christmas ?

Extra Credit Question:

Not to cause a panic, but tomorrow is Christmas Eve !!!

What last minute things do you still have left to do ? I still have to wrap a couple of my 5 year old neice's toys that I'm purchasing today. It might turn out to be a sloppy wrap due to the rush but she's not going to pay that any mind, all she's going to do is rip everything open anyway.

Bonus Question:
I was having this discussion with a friend the other day

If you found out a favorite restaurant that you go to a lot was sited with a bunch of violations during the last inspection, would you still go to the restaurant or find somewhere else to go ? I won't go there anymore & I'll find another spot to go to. I experienced a violation once at a "Ruby Tuesday's" restaurant in Maryland.

I ordered a lemonade drink & when I looked in the clear glass, there was a long string of hair in it.
I had already eaten my meal so the manager told me I didn't have to pay for anything.
This was in April of this year & I haven't returned to that restaurant since. This used to be my favorite spot.

Just clean up around here. FRED, where are you?

It all depends on the violations. This has been a on-going topic in our county on the discrepancies between inspectors and how violations are written up.

I think I'll wait until the last minute, on December 24th, at 11:59 PM... - Just kidding, I don't have any last-minute things to do.
I could see you doing that!

Finish X-mas baking, finish wrapping gifts and I still have one more gift to get today.

Bonus Question:

I probably wouldn't go there anymore, or I'd only go once in a long while. But I guess it depends on the type of inspection they failed. One of my favorite eateries was actually closed because they failed their performance inspection, but the food was fine.

Today is:
National Pfeffernuesse Day
Economists Day Just took my Economics final yesterday.
Festivus Appreciation Day

Its and hour to get to my house, and 1 1/2 hr. to get to San Diego. I don't know what happened.....I am always one hour earlier any place I go.
