If you found out a favorite restaurant that you go to a lot was sited with a bunch of violations during the last inspection, would you still go to the restaurant or find somewhere else to go ?
I would keep going to the same restaurant. Some inspectors are just jerks and really push the envelope based on factors as insignificant as not liking the manager or certain employees.

Today's Question(s):
So know we know what you don't want, what you have hinted for so lets see what else can we discover

I can not wait to see _my childrens________ faces when they open up the _____air hockey table____ I got them for Christmas ? and the camcorders my parents got, and the American Girl Dolls my inlaws got... or the furreal cat the my youngest has been begging for for about 6 months..... LOL... I JUST CAN'T WAIT FOR CHRISTMAS!!!!

Extra Credit Question:

Not to cause a panic, but tomorrow is Christmas Eve !!!

What last minute things do you still have left to do ? Buy the strawberries and chocolate to make the chocolate covered strawberries... buy the bagels and donuts to finish out Christmas morning.... buy gifts for Hubby's aunts and my two uncles..... THEN I AM DONE!!!!! Everything else is taken care of and wrapped!!!

Bonus Question:
I was having this discussion with a friend the other day

If you found out a favorite restaurant that you go to a lot was sited with a bunch of violations during the last inspection, would you still go to the restaurant or find somewhere else to go ? oh... man.... that is tough.... there is a rest. we go to often that we know the owners and everything is done well so i would be shocked if that happend there and would still go chalking it up to a cranky inspector.... but if it happend anywhere else... probably not.....

Probably need to make another run to Krogers to make sure all food and supplies are on hand.

You can tell a lot about a restaurant by its general cleanliness, and many people swear the state of the restrooms is an indication of how clean the kitchen is.

If I thought it was too bad I wouldn't eat there the first time. However, I see restaurants' report cards from the health department posted on their wall. I don't know if that is a requirement, but it's a good idea!

Somewhere else, but I'd track the future inspections and go back when they improved. I would also tell them what I'm doing and why. If they respect me so little as to fail an inspection why would I want to eat there?

Babble

Rain today. Lots of rain. Good thing it's not snow! Of course it will freeze later and that sucks.

Mrs. Tek offered up sausage, cheese, and crackers so I was gone for a bit. When I came back and sat down I noticed the small (last year) branchlettes (I know; not a word, but it should be!) on the Kentucky Coffee Bean are covered with ice and dropping off. These usually stay on all winter if there are no ice storms. Looks like it's starting to freeze already!

I did go out and haul in firewood this morning. The rack in the garage is overfull and the hod on the hearth is, too. Plenty to weather this weather.

So we are in until??? Might be in until Saturday with this weather. We are going to friends Saturday so I hope all this is done with by then.

Have a good evening!

I can not wait to see my daughter's face when they open up the new ipod I got them for Christmas ? She only realised in the last week that she really needs a new one and she knows I haven't done any more shopping so she will not be expecting it.

Extra Credit Question:

It's Christmas Eve right now in Australia

What last minute things do you still have left to do ?

I have to prepare some food for tomorrow later on, and find a moment alone to wrap my daughter's present. She doesn't leave me alone for a minute, in fact I almost got busted just then writing what her present was.

Bonus Question:

I guess I would find somewhere else, I'd always be wondering about the food. If they don't care enough to do it right of their own volition then it will not stay good even if they clean it for inspections.

Festivus Appreciation Day Festivus for the rest of us !!....I love Seinfeld

My neighbor couldn't wait to see the look on my face when she told me she's making me some bakala and calamari with linguini and sauce. This always was my favorite.

I have to get more eggnog.

I've eaten in a lot of restaurants in big cities and foreign countries that were probably like that.

No way you're giving any pages of your catalogs to anyone.
