There are times when I prepare a meal with leftovers in mind. Then some foods I just do not enjoy the 2nd time around. Now chili, stews, soups, and roasts are our favorite planned leftovers. So good later.

I offer leftovers to company, which, BTW, we have very little of lately. Company, that is!! I usually will not take leftovers from others. Unless it is fudge, brownies, or some such other chocolate dessert.

We always enjoyed both card and board games while our children were at home. Monopoly was one of our favorites as well as Scrabble and a few others. Pinochle and various forms of pocker top the list of card games.

Not so new top loading washer and a newer unmatched front loading dryer. Should have bought the stackable type due to the size of my laundry room. When we remodeled years ago we moved things around and now have a separate laundry room.

Speaking of which, must fold laundry about now. See y'all later. Have a great Wednesday!!

Today's Question(s):
Lets talk about Leftovers !
Selective leftover eater:
It depends on the food. Some things are just as good or better the next day cold. Foods that fit that category: Fried chicken, pizza, casseroles.

If you have company for dinner and there are leftovers do you send some home with your guests ?
If they truly want them. I don't like to "force" leftovers on people who are just trying to be nice.

If you go somewhere for dinner and are offered some of the leftovers will you take them ?
Yes, and return their dish if appropriate.

Extra credit Question:
Do your washer & dryer match ?
Well, they're both white. But different brands.
Do you have Front loader ?
Both front. They say front loaders use less water. Also, that's what I grew up with.
But seems like they get clothes cleaner too. Turning slightly in a top loader vs whirling around in a front end loader.

Bonus Question:
What are your favorite games to play at home?
Trivial Pursuit and Scrabble.

Today in History:
1948 - 1st tape recorder sold wow
1976 - "Laverne and Shirley" spinoff from "Happy Days" premieres on ABC TV grew up with that show

Today is:
Chocolate Cake Day
