Lets talk about Leftovers !!

Depends on the leftover. Some I can't wait to eat because certain foods age after cooking and are better.

Yes and yes.

Extra credit Question:

Do your washer & dryer match ? Almost. On casual inspection you'd think so, but we went up one step with the washer to get a larger drum.
Do you have
Front loader ? Both
Top loader ?
Stackable ?

Bonus Question:

What are your favorite games to play at home
Card games ?
Board games?

What are some of your favorites ?

Lately it's been Mario Galaxy and Ratchet and Clank.

We like Pitch, Cribbage, Casino, Pinochle, wait. Let me put it this way: If it's card game we like to play it. There, much simpler.

We've gotten hooked on Sequence. We also play what we call The Dice Game, which is similar to a game called Farkel. We played ours for about 20 years before we found out about Farkel.

Today in History:
1870 - 1st sorority (Kappa Alpha Theta) (DePauw U in Greencastle, Indiana) I wonder how long it was until the first pantie raid.
1927 - Harlem Globetrotters play their 1st game Sweet Georgia Brown.
1948 - 1st tape recorder sold To Richard Nixon?
1976 - "Laverne and Shirley" spinoff from "Happy Days" premieres on ABC TV

Word of the Day:
panjandrum \pan-JAN-druhm\ , noun;
1. An important personage or pretentious official.

Today is:
Chocolate Cake Day
National Toilet Day
Mad Tea Party Day
Mozart Day
Punch the Clock Day

After you punch the clock you are invited to a Mad Tea Party. We will all be seated on toilets and will be served chocolate cake whilst listening to Mozart.

Babble

Tomorrow I start a new blood pressure medicine. The doc says I should know in a week if the "tireds" are going to go away.

I've been busy! I thought the economy had gone to Hell, but you'd never know it to see my schedule. I keep having to put people off because I can't keep up. Ka-ching!!

I got a good laugh today. The guy across the street parks his truck in the street down past the house to our east, which is his sons. He does it because his wife has to park in the middle of the garage or she knocks mirrors off the car. (Yeah, I know. Can you imagine driving on the freeway next to her?). That is the direction the water runs to get to the sewer. He pitched a b*tch earlier because of all the ice down there and said it was because a couple of us ran our sump pumps into the street, and that we should dump the water into our back yards. I just told him that was ridiculous and I wasn't about to change.

Today I cleared the snow off my drive and noticed his son didn't get his front sidewalk cleared so I went across it for him. When I got to the far side I noticed his sump pump was draining across the sidewalk and into the street - right where all the problems are. Pwned! Next time I see him I am going to pimp him something fierce. In fact I'm going to try to remember to bring it up any time he complains about something. Fun is where you find it.

The street down there got so bad with deep ice and areas that are melted because of the warm sump water that a woman pulled out of her drive and stopped with her front wheels in the melted area. The ice buildup was so deep she couldn't get over it and was stuck. Tonight Mrs. Tek went to GNO and said someone with a blade was working on it.

I can't remember if I mentioned it, but I'm applying for Social Security next month and will start taking it this summer. Mrs. Tek is retiring at the end of September. I'm going to continue with my larger clients and let everyone else go. Life is on the cusp of change.

Woooo hoooo!

Tomorrow is one day closer to the weekend. Enjoy.

Selective leftover eater ? Yes
Cook extra to make sure there are leftovers ? Yes, to be able to take lunch to work.

Do your washer & dryer match ? No, b/c we don't have a dryer. My parents have one and they live right next door, just over the yard.
Do you have
