Ahh what a blessing it is, to have a day off.

What further blessing it is to have to file taxes (lest otherwise I'd not have income).

But what a drag to not be granted time from my otherwise toil-some work week to do what is my civic and lawful obligation to file taxes.

I propose a new law.... everyone who has to file taxes is granted one day off for purposes of preparing their tax returns. Those who don't have to file because they aren't working are ushered off to work on the great public projects such as cleaning up the highways, repairing our decaying infrastructure, and contributing to the community for the collective benefit of all.

When my kids were younger they were good for taxes. But now, not having any young kids or dependents, they take out more and you get way less back. I remember back in Az, even when filing zero all the way down the line, I made pretty decent money and had to pay every year! Someone else I know went to do their tax returns and because they made x-amount more last year....they are getting way less back, and this person has young kids! I just dont get it.....

Did mine last week.
"Blessed are those with no assets...for they can do their taxes in 15 minutes."
I'm sure Jesus would have added that one if they did taxes then.

Well thanks to all the previous hard work of my beautiful wife this didn't take too long. Just want to publically acknowledge her undying support of her husband and family.

BTW: Our income went up 7 percent but our Federal taxes went up 11 percent. We are under $100K. So.... where's that big tax break we are being told about??? Bunk I tell you, pure bunk.

I finished mine about 2 this morning. If I actually knew how to add, I would've finished them an hour earlier! I love your law--had it been in effect, I'd have waited until tomorrow morning to start em!
