Eating while driving is as bad a drinking booze while driving. Both are illegal, dangerous and this guy should pay. But ya just knows this is building up to a lawsuit against Wendy's.

When I think of someone eating chili I picture them holding the bowl in one hand and the spoon in the other. How was he steering safely like that?
I can understand that truck drivers get to drive long hours and they get hungry like the rest of us only not always with the luxury of stopping whenever they want, but one can easily eat a sandwich or something while driving. Eating chili which driving seems a bit ridiculous.

It's one thing to eat a donut or a biscuit while driving. But chili?? That requires a minimum of two hands, and you know we aren't octupusses.

In all seriousness, he had it coming to him. People need to learn a lesson about driving, and it's sad when he has to learn his the hard way.

First, I have eaten chili while driving. Wendy's chili is thin enough to drink from the cup. No spoon needed if you go easy on the crackers.

Secondly the last sentence says "he could be cited for eating while driving." Who knew

So true. I never use a spoon. It's not like Texas chili.
