Today's Question(s):

Well I have to admit, that was the best $
90 I ever spent.

Details here $45 is the cost of one membership for the four-day feminist science fiction convention that occurs every Memorial Day weekend in our city. When the spouse and I first moved here a decade ago, we thought it sounded interesting, but we were both a little leery about what "feminist science fiction" would turn out to mean. We were kind of imagining a group of about 800 Andrea Dworkin clones or something. It turned out to be very different, very interesting, and a whole lot of fun. We enjoyed ourselves so much, in fact, that we are now both members of the all-volunteer committee that plans and puts on the convention every year.

Bonus Question:
Yesterday was "lost penny day" so today we need to know

If you see a penny on the street do you pick it up?

Nope, not since they stopped making them out of copper.

Extra Credit Question:

When it comes to
reconciling complex balance sheet accounts I feel I am pretty "smart", but when it comes to fashion I can feel pretty "dumb"?

Just for Fun:

Will any of our QOTD family be watching the Daytona 500 race?

Nope.

How many of our QOTD family have a 3 day weekend?

Spouse is a government worker, so he has Monday off.

In honor of "Get a Different Name Day"
What name would you pick?

At my age, I'd just keep the one I've got. It's hard to teach an old dog new tricks, and I probably wouldn't ever learn to answer to a new name.
