I have actually found a group that "gets" most of my humor. In my life that's a blessing. The normal outcome when I let it out of the coal sack I keep it in is a room of silence. Everyone is trying to figure out the joke and no one is getting it. {sigh}. Thank heaven for my wife. If not for her I would have stopped bothering with humor a long time ago. She says I inherited my father's sense of humor and I think she's right. Most of it is so far out in left field that no one can catch it. {rim shot, please!}.
Advice can also be found here. Most of it good. I appreciate that.

I was recently thinking about starting the same thread, thanks Tek_Freek!
After relocating from everything I knew, I found comfort in knowing my CD buddies were here for me.
There is an amazing amount of humor, honesty, and (what I'd like to think ) sincerity. Most on here seem to be virtual friends who are there for us unconditionally and without judgement. Friends here are sure to give you a reality check without being too hard, when you need one (and I think we all need one from time to time !) Even though we may not agree with what someone has to say, at least it IS said, and like it or not, it may give us something to think about rather than have a sugarcoated society.
Most of all THE SUPPORT on this site is amazing !

When I first started there was a handful of enablers that kept me addicted.
( I can name them). Now there are many enablers! I love you all.
It is quite interesting how we (I) can relate to so many things going on here, and find the sincere info to be helpful in so many ways !
Once again, THANK YOU to all you wonderful, insiteful, humurous souls here that accept everyone without judgement. It is a rare place in the world where you can have a multitude of friends, all with nonjudgemental and (for the most part)unconditional virtual friendship !

I fully agree, and think, laughs are so desperately needed.
I love to come to the forum, even though my husband thinks it's "nuts", and I am "talking" to people....he still doesn't "get it"...lol.
There are times, when one needs to vent, and times, when nobody around me understands where the heck I am coming from, and where the heck I am getting at.....
Funny thing, at least one person on the forum "get's" me every time, or, put's me back in the place, where I belong.....lol. (Yeah, I do need to occational kick in the a** , busting butt and words of wisdom sometimes too, y'all.....lol)
