Ok peeps, let's hear the fun stuff you did this weekend!

I am so amazed how much the gym is helping me!!!!
Sat. I helped my brother remove the old hot water heater up the cellar steps.
I was first holding the top end walking backwards while lifting. My brother at the end. We couldn't get the darn thing to drain completely, so that darn thing was freak en heavy. My brother kept stopping to see if I was ok. I handled it and could keep it leveled. I lift it the whole way! Doing the muscle arm dance yeah!!!! Working out rules!!!

I went to the Lord of the Dance with my BF on Friday night, got my son to his Prom dinner where we (the parents) all served the kids, went out to dinner with my son's girlfriends mom, and spent today with my BF. We went to see Date Night, which wasn't "all that", by the way. Busy busy weekend, as usual!

Lugging an old hot water heater up the cellar steps doesn't sound that fun to me, Raena!

We went to look at tent trailers on Saturday. And on Sunday we saw 2012, which was so spectacularly, awfully wretched it was kind of amusing.

Hah on the old water heater, JJ. And what the hell was John Cusack thinking?

Watched a movie Friday night.

Spent Saturday morning revising Chapter Fifteen. Cleaned the house and watched the ongoing tornado drama Saturday afternoon. Had good friends over Saturday night and enjoy a friendly, yet contentious, political discussion that lasted until 11.

Church yesterday morning. Further work on Chapter Fifteen. Time in the hammock reading Malamud. Sunday night meeting with client.

Yeah, shlepping an old water heater up the stairs doesn't sound like much fun, ranks right up there with cleaning toilets on the old fun-o-meter, you need to get out more Raena!

I took my daughter to the Mystic Aquarium on Saturday. Weather was great and we had a good time.

I don't know, but any planet where Danny Glover is my president is one where I don't want to live. I didn't know anything about the cast, so I was like, "Oh, Danny Glover is in this? Is he an advisor? What's he--oh, he's the President. Awesome." Maybe in the sequel they'll cast Eugene Levy as Prime Minister of Earth.

I fully expect to see that movie as a Mystery Science Theater spoof in a few years.

I saw the preview on that and said, "Oh, this is so bad it could be good." But I didn't want to waste my hard-earned coin rewarding a really awful movie.

On a scale of 1 to 10, with "The Day After Tommorrow" being a -4, where does it fall?

Otherwise, weekend was rainy but decent. Got some good food, quality family time and some goooood lovin'.

If this gives you a hint, I thought The Day After Tomorrow was OK. Not great, not even very good, but OK. Maybe 4/10. 2012 was a 2, down there with The Core (DJ Qualls and his Hot Pockets will JAM TEH INTERWEBS) and Snakes on a Plane (with Sam Jackson, who studied at the Danny Glover School of Wooden Acting).

Well, they constantly link exercise to long term happiness (all those endorphins I guess) so congrats on having fun moving a water heater.

I finished up a show this weekend- it was 7 shows a week for 2 months, so I'm super excited to have my evenings and weekends back for a bit. We also had our closing night party, which was great. No drinking for me though, I had to be at work early this morning.
