Quite a few decades ago, the military - as well as other branches of our government like the CIA - began to use 'remote viewing' as a way to spy on 'the enemy' during WWII (I think it was WWII). I skimmed through a book about it several years ago after reading an article about remote viewing. I'd never heard of this before and it stopped me dead in my tracks when I first heard that our military actually used this technique. It's a fascinating topic, but boy! it does appear that it takes a lot of training and skill to use it. It also is surprising that the military would even consider such a thing. Do you have an interest in remote viewing? What do you know about it? Has anyone else studied remote viewing? Have you ever done it successfully? Or do you think it's hogwash? No trolls, please and thank you

Yes, I know I could do a google search, but the OP talked about it like it was something everyone knew about, so I thought I would ask her/him about it.

Ok, now I know what they're talking about.

I read this book several years ago about it, and if I recall correctly, the gov't didn't really want to admit to using it. Amazon.com: Psychic Warrior: The True Story of America's Foremost Psychic Spy and the Cover-Up of the CIA's Top-Secret Stargate Program (9780312964139): David Morehouse: Books

He got injured and suddenly had psychic powers and was trained for this. He went through some pretty crazy 'training'.

I’m very open minded about things like this. Just because I’ve never seen things first hand doesn’t mean that they don’t exist or are not true. I’ve heard about remote views for more then ten or fifteen years now and believe that the government has been in a program for a long time to deal with this topic. I’d like to learn how to do it myself but at this age all I see is the past going by. I’ve got too many other things I need to learn first.
