Sorry if there is another thread for this, I did not see it.
We will be traveling to a private rental property just outside Ottowa Canada. Our dog has had all of her vaccinations. Do we need to bring anything other than her paperwork to prove she has been vaccinated? We will be staying in Candada for 8 days.
You should be good to go if you have the up-to-date paperwork from the vet showing all vaccinations, including rabies shots (that's important), and the customs officers may ask to see the dog's collar with imprinted tags on it showing dates of rabies shots and other vaccinations. That policy may have changed but those were the requirements 8 years ago when some friends of mine from the States were doing a lot of border crossing with their Sheltie to come visit their daughter at university here.
Thank you very much for the help! I got all of her paperwork from the vet that shows she is up-to-date and will check out the site mikeyyc recommended, thanks again.
