They (adults) can prove disruptive at times, however I would never subject a young child to extreme violence. They're too young period.

its the love me and my walllet love my kid no matter what idea/mindset many parents have .. .. thank gods for DVDs and a Payperview system at home.. I just dont get the idea that parents dont understand some of this stuff by others .. Kids are a fact of life .. but Pushing your brat into my relaxation space or dinner out by not teaching them manners or limits then it is an issue with the rest of us ..
I remember the movie rating thing ..it used to be enforced by the theaters when I was younger .. why isnt it now?

Nyquil! Seriously though, next time we're in a place where there are families with well behaved children please take a moment to praise the parents. It does wonders. When my middle son was a week old we moved to Chicago. The children (2, 4, and newborn) and I flew. They behaved as well as could be expected. After we landed, another passenger came up to me and remarked that he flew a great deal and seldom saw such well behaved children. That single gesture made my day. So, if you get the chance, please take a moment and recognize the good job many parents do.

Not the same thing at all.

The kid should not have been out of his seat, unless he was accompanied by a parent. Period.

LOL, your right though. More praise of well behaved children is needed. The parents need some recognition of the work they're putting in.

WDCJoe! Tell me, do they still have Chesapeake Bay Seafood House restaurants up there? I lived in Old Town Alexandria for years and that was always a favorite.
