Especially if those things are against the law.

Aha. So now we have the real reason why you object to the girls flashing their breasts. It's against the law.

If flashing your breasts is a "crime"---then who is the victim? In this case, the victim has been charged with a felony.

Yes, if we were in Germany or Denmark, than maybe.

But if we were in Saudi Arabia...

Or India...

Or China...

Or Nigeria...

Fact is, there's more out there than the U.S. and Europe, and most of the world's population doesn't even live in those two regions...

SPOILER: I DID NOT READ THE ARTICLE, JUST THE THREAD COMMENTS!

That was a dumb move on both the two teens AND the guy. The guy should have exercised some common sense there...if the girls looked young and underage, chances are that they are young and underage! He could get arrested for charges regarding child pornography. The teen girls obviously know better not to flash their boobies in public! They can and probably will get arrested for "indecent exposure." They were either under the influence of something or just being plain old stupid, or both.

We don't disagree ! There is a wonderful graphic novel called Persepolis about an Iranian girl. She talks about how the girls at her school play with their sexuality by leaving a little hair exposed under their scarves or wearing a pale shade of lipstick.

You have no idea why they did it. If I were to guess, I'd say they recognized the taboos of a rigid culture, and they were testing the limits. They were doing it just for the hell of it, because they were in a mood to have silly fun. Never in their life will they ever regret doing the thing itself (nor should they), but they will regret doing it in a manner and place where they could get caught, and they will regret contributing to a perfectly innocent person being charged with a felony.

They just said "Let's do something we're not supposed to do"---and I was a lot older than 15 when I stopped doing things for that reason. What they did was the equivalent of some hunters shooting highway signs, except the girls did no harm.

Having been a fifteen year old girl, I think I've made a pretty good guess. Let's not forget that they also allowed an adult man to photograph them, so yeah, they at least wanted a little attention from men. I'm not making any judgment about the character of the girls, by the way. I think our culture sends young women very confusing messages. And yes, I agree that testing the limits is one of the reasons, as you can infer from my previous posts that were about testing limits .
And how could you possibly know what someone will or won't regret?
