Please mods don't shut this down, just move it to where you think it belongs.

I do the been washing and I have used everything to clean my sons socks and they are still full of funk and stains.

I've used shout, spray & wash, oxi clean, bleach etc. and yet I have not found anything that will clean the stains from his socks.

What do you guys use other then tossing them in the trash and buying him new socks.

If all those products failed I'd toss them!! Some stains just won't come out!

The spray and wash (which also contains bleach) I use seems to work just fine. I can ask my wife what the brand name is if you like.

They have that stain remove with Resolve carpet cleaner in it-which I know works really well.

Otherwise, I'd just buy big bags of cheap socks and replace them frequently.

It will probably cost you more to try and buy all the stuff you'll need to get the stains out than it will to just buy cheap socks.

Spray them with Greased Lightening, wait 20 minutes then wash in hot water with bleach and a cup of borax. It wouldn't be a bad idea to let them soak in the washer for a little while then run the load thru the entire wash cycle.

1. Buy only all-cotton socks.
2. Buy better quality shoes. Leather uppers, leather soles. No vinyl.
3. If you need added support in your shoes, make sure the outer layer is cloth or leather, NOT vinyl or any other plastic material.
4. Change your socks in the middle of the day.
5. Get your feet checked to make sure there's no medical reason why your socks are so funky.
6. Don't wear socks without shoes. If you take your shoes off, take the socks off too.

Sorry it sounds like the stains are not going to come out. Throw them out.
