I love it when dd giggles in her sleep. I love it when she hugs me and tells me how much she loves me. I love it when she wakes up with a big smile on her face. I love it when she shows her enthusiasm for life.

I love everything my daughter does, but I love when she will wake up and come into our room and hop into bed with us and wake me up with kisses on the forehead.

I don't have kids of my own but I will comment on the things the kids I nanny for do.

I love when the 17mo randomly will walk up and wrap around one of my legs to hug me or when he goes ble ble ble ble ble with his tongue at me or the time he fell asleep on my lap on the plane.
OHHH and when he sings Justin Beiber- baby with me, he'll be crying and I'll play it on my phone and he'll instantly start singing it with me.

And the 3 year old, I love it when she tells me I am her best friend or that she loves me. It took her the longest to warm up to me and just knowing that she does actually like me and that she looks up to me and thinks of me like big sister means a lot.

It's amazing--I never want any kids of my own, but when I visit people that have kids, they never seem to want me to leave. They want me to play with them, they want me to see the world through their eyes.

But I can't stay indefinitely...

I loved it when one of the kids was in the car with his friends and I got to listen to the banter. They were always so bright and funny. I got to do the same thing with my grandson recently, and it still makes me smile.

I love it when my 12-year-old tells me "who likes who" at school. I also love it when she spontaneously gives me a hug.

I love it when other people tell us how well behaved and respectful my children are. Even though they can drive us crazy at home it makes us realize we are doing the right things.

I love it when my child says..."Mommy...Mommy...Mommy..." several times and end with "Mommy I love you!"

JKcoop! Totally feel you on this...the last day that happens will break my heart!!!!!! When Baby X leaves to go do his own thing out in the big bad world, I will be the lady at the end of the driveway crying hysterical while Mr. X screams from the car "Woman move it! I got to go to the shop for cigs!"
