We just got word our daughter found out today her temporary (2 full years) part-time (40+ hrs per week) job has been turned into a Full Time Position. This means she finally gets benefits. I'm so proud of her. She just kept on plugging, not complaining, doing everything and more they asked. So many employers know with these difficult times, people will be happy with a temp. part time job and we were pleasantly surprised they changed her status.

Happy Christmas to us.....

some people (not naming names) should take a lesson on the power of maturity and perseverance

Congrats. I know how you feel. Tough to do these days

My daughter got a part time job in a grocery store this last summer after her freshman year in college. She kept it when the fall semester started. College and work. Does it get any better? I have to pinch myself some times.

Congrats! Now she just needs to rise to a position where she needs a stay-at-home part time data entry clerk. I happen to be available.
