OMG how horrible! Who was he working for? Enron? That is awful for you and Mr. Hopes. No wonder you are considering this job. It is overwhelming to do both things full time and the older we get we want to do less but it seems in this day and age we have to.

Nice to meet you too Finster. I went to Townsville once on business, but don't recall much about it, other than that there's a large navy base there.

I have many friends from the UK who go for a few months holiday and a few NHS nurses who have relocated and they tell me all about your nasty creepy crawlies! One of them told me he went to bed with his wife and woke up the next morning to find a very hairy (not a tarantula spider) the size of his fist sleeping on his wife's pillow.
LOL - that would probably have been a Huntsman... nasty to look at but quite nice to have around because they love munching on mosquitoes. I, however, have insect screens on all my windows, so I don't welcome them into my home! My last interaction with a Huntsman was not the most pleasant. I had hauled the fake Christmas tree out of the cupboard, and was assembling it in the living room. Then, out of the corner of my eye I noticed a huge brown splodge on my T-shirt! The realisation that it was a Huntsman came half of a split-second before I moved to brush it off with my hand!! Fortunately it didn't move while I walked slowly and carefully into the kitchen for a glass and a piece of cardboard so that I could transfer him out into the backyard!

Thank goodness! I don't think Mr. Bill Big Love is attractive. Very poor casting!

I mean seriously, the man has NOTHING going for him IMO.

He's not a very nice person. He's selfish. He's not attractive. Heck, he even needs viagra.

What's he good for? Why are four women attracted to him? I mean, seriously!

Barb---That relationship makes some sense. Married young, cancer, bla bla bla.

Nicki---Well, she grew up in a compound. It's all she knows.

Margene---was emotionally and financially needy.

But Ana? This is Paxton we're talking about!

Not Enron. A local company. It's amazing how these wealthy people get away with doing it!

It happened about 6 years ago. I'm just trying to make myself as marketable as possible for when he retires since I'll be older. I figure the higher the degree the better.

A huntsman! I am going to have to look it up. Since we have moved to Texas we have encountered Tarantula's and Scorpions. The biggest tarantula we had was probably the same size as well. Mr. X was out back smoking his cigarette and there was a tarantula hanging on on the window screen. Mr. X pointed it out to me and I never saw a man smoke a cigarette so fast it looked comical. He got a broom and brushed it off the window.

One thing I can't and won't deal with is centipedes! Even typing it gives me icy shivers up my spine. I have a huge phobia of them and it brings me back to my childhood of them coming out of the tap when I bathe in the tub as a child in NYC! I will scream, climb anything that is higher than where the creature is walking and if it ever there was one on me I think I would die of a heart attack! They are the devil's work!

Eeek Finster - just heard on the ABC News that North Queensland is expecting its biggest ever cyclone to hit tomorrow evening (as in about 28 hours from now). Apparently they're evacuating whole suburbs/areas in Townsville, Cairns and Innisfail. Do you still have family/friends there?

I think last season and this season is really showing Bill for what he is, a manipulator! He uses his family as chess peices in his game to get himself ahead. I feel sorry for Barb because she is the one who has to hold it together for all of them and I don't blame her turning to a tipple of wine! Hell I would down the whole bottle if I was in her shoes.

Margene, annoys the heck out of me! Young, naive and needy. She needs to grow up and stop relying on Bill for her happiness. I am glad she wants her own business and make it grow but she makes some really poor choices.

Nikki, I crack up over. I think I like her somewhat because her character is consistent.

Ana...oh Ana! I hate the story line and thats what killed it for me!

Also the story of the clinic and Nikki's pregnant mom annoys me. I prefered the intertwinning story lines like Hollis Green, Roman and Albie's gay secret!

Nope! They took him to federal court but he negotiated a deal that was pennies on the dollar, but then he started hiding company profits and closed the company.

Everyone lost their pensions and he's still living in his mansion.

We ran into him at a restaurant once. He sent drinks to our table. I refused to look at him. My husband is too nice---he thanked him for the drinks!!!!!
