Dew, I'm so glad to hear the movie passed scrutiny! It was so yummy to watch. I could just about feel that damp London air sitting in the theater here....And I kept trying to reconcile Helena Bonham Carter's character being the Queen Mum!
Still feeling punk. Ended up working from home today...way too easily distracted! Can you tell? LOL. That is why I don't do that too often.
I'm sure she did...I just always thing of the queen mum as old and never really thought too much about what she was like as a younger woman...The hats were lovely weren't they! Love those cloche styled ones.

They even did her eyebrows like the Queen Mum's. (Who was definitely the power behind the throne.) The attention to detail was unbelievable. Oscar night should be interesting.
How was Annette Benning in TKAARight? She may just win. Her reward for hanging in there so long. (And for taming Warren Beatty lol.) I haven't seen it. Big Mark Ruffalo fan.
Annette Benning was very good in the movie. I like Annette Benning, I just thought the movie left something to be desired. It could have been much better IMO but it wasn't the actors' fault. And Mark Ruffalo...mmm.mmm.mmm. I've had a crush on him since "13 going on 30"....
Kinda sad a certain thread got closed. I was having fun.
Me too. Txt really needs to put all that here. She knows this is where most of her cybermoms hang out anyway. (Compared to her's my life was totally boring when I was 21. Work. School. Hardly any drama.)
Uh, oh. Friday night. That means BBC America for me.
