Paganmama, Have you seen the movie Easy A? Based on your posts you remind me of the main girl's mother.

Morning all, I hope anyone who is on the East coast and got belted by that storm is getting along all right.

Hope everyone had a great holiday and safe!

Is it me or has the parenting forum become a dumping ground for non-related parenting threads? IMO just because it has the word children in the post does not make the question related to parenting. Does anybody else notice this or is it me?

Hey everybody!

MrsX - I noticed it too. There hasn't been much of anything interesting to even look at lately either.....

Agreed. I just been skimming them and thinking to myself what does it have to do with parenting?

Well, everyone is on a holiday schedule. And there's a certain poster who needs a lot of advice who is out of town. She seems to have gotten into a relaionship though, so you might want to polish up your advice on all things boyfriend-who-did-me-wrong.

Please. I have come to the conclusion all New Yorkers are wussies. EVERY YEAR there is a huge storm and every year everyone acts like we live in Hawaii and it's never ever snowed.

Same with Cleveland.

Are you telling me that Pittsburghers handle winter weather better than Clevelanders? I'm surprised!

With lake effect snow, Cleveland gets more snow than Pittsburgh! And Pittsburghers are rather proud of their ability to deal with snow!

We can add this to the list of things we can tease Cleveland about!

ohhh Clevelanders are babies. Anytime there is a snowflake or a rain drop traffic is at a standstill. My parents and I joke about it every year.

In NY tho they clear the snow fairly quickly, so when the snow isn't cleared everyone goes into a tizzy.
