A portable scanner type device that you can wave over food to instantly and safely kill off any nasty stuff (e.choli, salmonella, "cooties," etc...).
Perhaps the same type of thing you can use to instantly sanitize your child from bacteria and viruses when they are out and about or coming back in the house from playing...
A device that can provide an instant and accurate diagnosis of what is ailin' your child or baby (cold, ear infection, reflux, etc...) so you won't have to play guessing games - esp. in the middle of the night.

Your child came already equipped with one. It's called "Immune System".
It's something that babies born in 2011 will not know anything about, because their immune system will never be allowed to learn how to walk.
Well, hot dang, I knew I should have taken a look at that gosh darn instruction manual. I probably still have it here somewhere.
Thank you for adding to my NY resolution list: Start taking immune systems out for a walk...check!
