my 7 y.o. girl loves stuffed animals
my 9 y.o. boy loves legos

Just like my brother and I did decades ago. Some things don't change.

Art Supplies. My four year old boy and six year old girl both love art supplies and are always running out. Great for kids of all ages.

My son loves anything Imaginext (very well made Fisher Price figures and vehicles)

I am always looking for toys to interest my daughter. She likes baby dolls and board games (like chess & checkers). She is now asking for an ipad, which I am totally against, but am looking for something to fill the gap for her that is not electronic--but that she still will think is cool...

My almost 5 year old boy loves anything Imaginext, but especially (in the 20 dollar range), the Batman helicopter and the dinosaurs. However, what he wants more than anything this year is, unfortunately, a Nerf gun.

Hotwheels track sets are also a good bet, and come in a range of prices.

Very young boys - a big sturdy truck, backhoe, wheel loader, bulldozer. Especially if it has buttons to push that make it light up/makes noise.

Very young girls - big, beautiful stuffed animals, my pretty ponies with long hair.

school age boys LOVE nerf guns - make sure it comes with lots of darts.
