hhhhmmm... maybe that's what my son had. He didn't have eczema anywhere else, though.

I would massage baby oil into my sons' scalps and then comb their hair, LIGHTLY dragging the comb across the scalp to lift the stuff away.

Yep, MissFR had it too. It looked like she had a leopard print head. It all came off, when she was around 18 months. It just eventually lifts off and combs out.
