You are still completely missing my point. How could I be defensive when I was an on-demand breastfeeder. Honestly how you parent your children does not factor into this discussion that we have been having at all. This is about opions, and how you promote your opinions to others. You specifically as well as lactivists.

As an advocate you are looking at breastfeeding and breast milk like it's its own entity, and at any cost you choose to promote breastfeeding for the sake of breastfeeding. For me, breastfeeding is an integral part of choosing the best path for a healthy (emotionally and physically) mother, and a healthy (emotionally and physically) baby. Most of the time it is breastfeeding, but sometimes it's not.
Bonding, love, confidence, nurturing and support are way more important to me than the extremes measures.
