I can totally relate. That's why I was so amazed by what Trump said about Libya. There's no secret agenda with him. I don't believe for a minute he would go into a country to take oil, he meant he saw no purpose in going into Libya, especially since he said we should have requested 5 billion from the Arab League before getting involved. And if he ever did say "I want to go in for the oil" no congressman would dare give approval. He'd be impeached if he did a Bush and Obama and went in without appoval. He's not stupid. He does seem honest though.

I voted for Bush (first time) and Obama. I was very upset with what Bush ended up doing and voted against him the second time. While Bush shocked and horrified me, Obama is merely disappointing me. Since I am a strong swing voter, I have no idea how I'll vote for the next election. I'm hoping a great option emerges. So far I'm not seeing any.

I LOVE this movie. I saw it three times at the theater. I can't remember if it was you who said they don't like sex scenes in movies...but there is a lesbian sex scene. It's pretty short and their really isn't any nudity.

Hopes, I read your post about not liking to go to sporting events and hating parents. That's totally my mom. It's funny because whenever I was in an activity like softball or theater or tennis I was just doing it for fun and could of cared less if we won or lost or even played. And some parents would get SO mad because I sucked at softball.

I had the same problem with it when chosing something last night. It has good reviews and it seems like it might be good but it just wasn't enticing me to actually watch it.

Thanks ohio...sex in movies....eh.....it's not that I'm a prude so much but usually the sex isn't there for any good reason - it's simply gratuitous. That's what I find unnecessary. If there's a good reason for showing something I don't have a problem with it.

I LOVED Black Swan. The sex scene was short FWIW, and important to the plot. I thought the acting of all the major roles was incredible, especially Barbara Hershey. I actually think it's a film worth owning, I have watched it a few times, focusing on different aspects with each viewing.

Hmmmm.....I think I'd like to see it but have to be in the mood for that kind of movie.....

Yeah...it's not that I really mind the sex scenes - I think I may be being misunderstood - I didn't like them in that one movie (can't rememeber the name now...with Annette Benning)....because I thought they were over the top and didn't add to the movie. In fact, it almost felt like some of it was there for shock value alone - which, to me, actually detracted from the movie.

Well, my children dont' know how I felt. I did enjoy when my son played Lacrosse. That was a fun sport to watch. I didn't like watching any of the other sports my daughter and son played though. I think between them, they have played every sport available.

I know what you mean about parents being too 'into it' and getting angry at the kids who aren't good. That's just so immature and nasty of parents. I've seen parents behave like that for almost every sport except for the sports that aren't "team" sports like swimming, track, golf, etc. It's disgusting to hear them get angry about another person's kid not being good.

It's okay for children to not be good---that's how they learn how to deal with failure and adversity. But there's something wrong with parents who take it over the top and act like the weak players need to be hung on a cross. My children have been both strong and weak players in different sports. They played because it was fun, if they happened to be good, that was a bonus for them but not the goal for goodness sake.

That's me. Have to be in the mood for certain movies. Which is sometimes the problem with Netflix. I wish they would stream more movies.

I understand. Some movies become more like soft-porn when the sex scenes aren't important to the plot.
