Strawflower, the big question of the day is: Are you going to continue the family tradition and drop raisins this weekend?
As much as I'd like to (more so now, now that I realized they could be symbolic of bunny poop- I wonder if my kids would pick up on that?!), I had to stop about five years ago, since our dog loves 'people' food and will eat absolutely anything he can get his paws on! The raisins would be gone in about ten minutes- plus I think dogs can get sick from eating them??
BTW.. thanks for the laughs this morning! I needed it.
Yep - raisins (real ones LOL) are not good for dogs... Although some dogs seem to be able to eat raisins and grapes without a problem, they are generally considered poisonous.

I did not know that.
So here's a summary of what I've learned so far today:
Dogs eat poop = good for environment, doesn't make them sick
Dogs eat raisins = bad for Easter, makes dogs sick
Anyone else see the irony in the fact that raisins are poisonous to a dog but poop is okay?
I'm sitting at the kids school waiting for a meeting to start. This conversation is taking place next to me:
"We'd really like to attend X Baptist Church as it's the most prestigious, but it costs so much to get the good seats".
Not much to say about that.
Such great priorities!
